Privacy Policy

Finlume ("this site") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the site collects and uses, and what rights you have.

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Information we collect

This site does not require an account and does not actively collect directly identifying information such as your name or email. In the course of normal use, the following anonymous or pseudonymous data may be collected automatically:

  • Device, operating system, and browser type
  • Pages visited, time spent, and referral source
  • Approximate location (country/city level) inferred from your IP address

Types of cookies

The cookies this site uses fall into the following categories by purpose:

  • Essential cookies — needed for basic site functions and to remember your consent choice; these cannot be turned off.
  • Analytics cookies — used by Google Analytics 4 to understand visit statistics and which content is useful.
  • Advertising cookies — used by third-party ad vendors such as Google AdSense to serve personalized ads.

Managing consent

Visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, Switzerland, and similar regions are shown a consent banner on their first visit. Analytics and advertising cookies run only if you consent (Google Consent Mode v2 is applied), and you can change or withdraw your consent at any time.

Advertising

This site displays ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites (including Google's use of advertising cookies).

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics for visit statistics. The data is used in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you. You can opt out of collection with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Third-party services

External services such as Google may be used for advertising and analytics; each follows its own privacy policy. See Google's policies for details.

Data retention

This site does not itself store personally identifying information. Google Analytics event data is automatically deleted after up to 14 months, per Google's settings. Retention of advertising-related data follows each ad vendor's own policy.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or the UK, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your data. The legal basis for processing analytics and advertising cookies is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. To exercise your rights or ask about lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority, contact us at the email below.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

No sale of data

This site does not sell your information.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as needed; changes take effect on this page along with the updated date shown above.
